Our outstanding performance in staff training has been well recognized and has attained numerous external awards.

Our mission is to develop our staff in multiple dimensions by providing timely, flexible, quality and cost-effective training services.

Training Programmes
To enable staff members to discharge their duties professionally and effectively, functional training programmes on job-related skills and knowledge are provided. Depending on the job, Mainland staff members can be arranged to take in-house courses on banking operations, financial knowledge, management skills, and sales and service skills in Hong Kong.

Training programmes are delivered through a variety of channels for flexibility in course scheduling and a higher degree of training effectiveness. Apart from traditional classroom training, we also make use of the interactive multi-media mode of training, intranet and in-branch coaching pack in the form of training videos and guidance notes.

Learning Resource Centre
In support of a continuous learning culture, the Bank has set up a Learning Resource Centre which carries a large collection of self-learning materials on financial knowledge, language and technical skills in the form of text books, CD ROMs, videos, magazines, etc. Staff members can make use of the on-line resources booking service for access to these learning resources.
