Please access Hang Seng China's official website and Hang Seng internet banking service by typing www.hangseng.com.cn at the address bar of browser, or by bookmarking the URL and use this linkage to access our website in the future.
Never solely rely on the look-and-feel of the website when using the internet banking service. Contact the Bank immediately and DO NOT enter your username, password, or security code if you find the website suspicious.
DO NOT access Hang Seng internet banking service through URLs embedded in emails or unknown sources such as pop-up windows or search results from internet search engines.
Install anti-virus software and update it with latest virus definition files.
When encounter slow response or unusual screen pop-up, log out from internet banking service immediately. Scan your computer with the most up-to-date virus protection software.
While you have an internet banking session open, do not let the webpage idle for long. And we recommend that you do not open other internet browser sessions and access other sites.
Always remember to log off properly by clicking Logoff button and close the browser after you have finished using internet banking Services.
Choose a password that is difficult for someone else to guess. Change your password on a regular basis, at least every 30 days.
Do not write down or record the password without disguising it. DO NOT disclose your password to anyone (not even to the Bank's employee, no Bank staff will ever ask for your password).
Avoid conducting banking transactions or check account balances from a public terminal, as it is difficult to ensure such PCs are free of hacker programs.
Review transaction / transfer records regularly. Report to the Bank if suspicious transaction is found.

Customers who are using the new Security Device should note the followings as well:

Keep your Security Device password to yourself only and DO NOT disclose to anyone.
DO NOT use the yellow button on Security Device during logon. Yellow button is mainly for transfers and set up the Security Device PIN.
When making a transfer, always ensure the input to the Security Device are extract of your intended beneficiary account number before using the yellow button. Never enter digits that are unfamiliar to you.

We maintain strict security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to information about you. Outside of the normal internet banking log-in process, Hang Seng Bank will never contact you and ask you to validate personal information such as customer ID, password, or account numbers.
