2. How to register for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking?
Q : How do I register for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking?
A :

If you have an account at one of our Bank's branches/sub-branches, you can download an Application Form or visit any of our branches/sub-branches to complete and submit the application form. An Electronic Banking Number (EBN), Personal Identification Number (PIN) and Security Device will be issued to you on the spot.

Online registration:

  • Step 1 - Enter account information
    Enter your EBN and PIN or Debit Card Number, ATM PIN and Issue Number
    Create your own User Name (5-20 characters) and Password (6-8 characters)
  • Step 2 - Accept the terms and conditions
    Accept the "Term and Conditions" for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking
  • Step 3 - Select accounts
    All of your self-named Hang Seng Accounts will be displayed. You may choose not to select one or more of your accounts if you do not wish to access there accounts through e-Banking services. However, if you wish to reactivate any account that was not select during registration, you need to visit any of our branches/sub-branches.
   
Q : What are my Electronic Banking Number (EBN), Personal Identification Number (PIN) and Security Code?
A :

Your EBN is a 10-digit number and your PIN is a six-digit number. Both these numbers are assigned to you when you apply for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking. Both numbers allow the Bank to uniquely identify you as a customer and must be used when registering for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking. A Security Code is a one-time six-digit password generated by your Security Device. It will be used to authenticate your identity when you logon to e-Banking.

   
Q : What should I do if I forget / lose my PIN?
A : Please call our Customer Service Hotline 8008 30 8008 / 4008 30 8008 for assistance or visit any of our branches/sub-branches to request a new PIN.
   
Q : What should I do if I have entered invalid information during the registration process?
A : If you enter invalid information such as EBN and PIN or Debit Card Number and ATM PIN, we will prompt you to re-enter the information again. However, if you enter an invalid PIN three consecutive times, you need to call our Customer Service Hotline 8008 30 8008 / 4008 30 8008 for assistance.
   
Q : How do I log-on to Hang Seng Personal e-Banking after registration?
A : You can simply enter your User Name, Password and Security Code to log-on to the e-Banking.
   
Q : Can I change my User Name and Password?
A : Your User Name cannot be changed after registration. However, you may change your Password online by selecting 'Change Password' under the Customer Services Section.
