HANG SENG BANK OPENS NEW BRANCH IN TUEN MUN

Hang Seng Bank today opened Tuen Mun Town Plaza Branch.

With a gross floor area of over 10,000 square feet, the new branch is located at Shop 28, Upper G/F, Tuen Mun Town Plaza, Phase II, Tuen Mun. It includes a Prestige Banking Centre and an investment centre to cater for the diversified financial needs of customers. The new branch results from the merger of Tuen Mun Branch and Tuen Mun (Trend Plaza) Branch. The other branch in Tuen Mun is located at Pierhead Garden. Mr John Chan, a Director of Hang Seng Bank, and Mr Roger Luk, the Bank's Managing Director and Deputy Chief Executive, officiated at the opening ceremony. Mr Luk said: "With a population of over 480,000, Tuen Mun new town offers enormous business potential for the Bank. The new branch is strategically located in the largest shopping arcade in Tuen Mun and will offer residents in the district one-stop banking solutions." The branch provides a wide range of personal financial services, including insurance and investment services, credit cards, mortgage and personal loans, deposits, remittances and money-changing services, as well as self-service banking services through ATMs, a passbook update terminal and express cheque deposit.
